The AEPJ participated in this Forum as a representative of the European Routes of Jewish Heritage
Between 27 and 29 September was held the Annual Forum of Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in the Italian city of Lucca. The AEPJ participated in this Forum as a representative of the European Routes of Jewish Heritage, certification obtained in 2006. The Forum, organized by the European Institute of Cultural Routes, offered an extensive program that included presentations, workshops and debates on strategic development of all that refers to cultural tourism, from the most different perspectives. Likewise, there was an opportunity to know in depth some of the routes in specific sessions about them. In this sense, the project of the European Routes of Jewish Heritage was presented in a plenary session by the president of the AEPJ, Mr. François Moyse. Undoubtedly, it was an excellent framework to continue working on the development of this macro European project. On behalf of the AEPJ, this Forum served to study and work on the development of the European Routes of Jewish Heritage project, through an action plan that will be presented for its discussion in the next General Assembly, together with the organizations that are members of the AEPJ.
