This week we had the great pleasure of being invited to participate in the "Séminaire" Itinéraires culturels du Conseil de l'Europe "Projet Chemins des Cathares", in Carcassonne, France.
This seminar, organized jointly by the department of l'Aude and the Generalitat Valenciana, seeks to promote the candidacy of the Cathar Route as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe. Victor Sorenssen, director of the AEPJ, offered a presentation on the strategic and political dimension of the approach of the Routes and the implementation of the projects and their operation today. In this regard, Sorenssen spoke about the project to relaunch the European Route of Jewish Heritage of the Council of Europe, the AEPJ Incubator Project, as a tool to enhance the cohesion between the Jewish heritage projects, the cooperation and the development of training meetings for institutions working on the ground. From the AEPJ we appreciate this invitation, we hope to see this new route certified very soon, and of course, we open a window to possible future collaborations.
