Today we present a very visible project that you might have heard of Rede de Judiarias de Portugal - Rotas de Sefarad, an AEPJ member. The Portuguese Network of Jewish Quarters, is a project for conservation and revitalization of cultural and natural heritage. It aims to present the history of the Jewish culture in Portugal, combining history and heritage recovery with tourism. Watch the Video! . "Jewish tourism has been identified as a very important pillar because we have 29 historical sites in Portugal, mostly located in the interior, which have a Jewish heritage," explains Tourism Secretary Ana Mendes Godinho during a session to promote Portugal in Los Angeles.
